Gemini Film Circuit and Shankar has named their 3 Idiots remake in Tamil as Nanban. Nanban stars Vijay and Ileana in lead roles, while Jiiva, Srikanth, Ileana and Sathyaraj does the supporting roles.

The new addition to the star cast are SJ Suryah who will replace Omi Vaidya, Sathyan, Anuya and Ajay Rathinam. Harris Jayaraj scores music for the film while Anthony does editing.

Vijay- Back in 3 Idiots remake?

   

The biggest buzz in Kollywood film circles is that Ilayathalapati Vijay has bounced back into the much publicised Tamil remake of 3 Idiots! This Shankar directed film is in the news for all the wrong reasons ever since Gemini Film circuit decided to remake it in Tamil and Telugu. Vijay and Mahesh Babu who were supposed to do the film, walked off in the last minute citing reason of date problem. Later there were media reports that Gemini was planning to go ahead with the project with Suriya in both the languages. And now the latest rumour doing the rounds is that Vijay has once again bounced back and is holding fresh discussions. When contacted, Vijay preferred to smile and maintain a studious silence. Meanwhile reports from Andhra say that Ileana will be shooting in Ooty along with Jiiva, Srikanth, Omi Vaidya and Sathyaraj from Jan 30. Watch this space till confirmed report comes.

Big Blockbuster for the Ilaya Thalapathi.

‘Kavalan’, a much awaited film of the year is in its finishing stages. After his last few films which did not perform too well at the box office, Vijay’s 51st film is expected to be the next Big Blockbuster for the Ilaya Thalapathi. Amidst rumours and other controversies Tantra Films has purchased the worldwide rights of the film at a whopping price which has heightened the expectations further.

Tantra Films, the successful producers of ‘Chennai 600028’ and soon-to-be released ‘Pickles’, has been approached by numerous distributors and regular Tamil film buyers worldwide. Tantra Films has indicated its desire to create long term partnerships with International Indian distributors and buyers in the now booming Tamil FMS market.

A spokesperson from Tantra Films has asserted that Tantra Films believes that prominent distributors of the Indian Diaspora community worldwide will forge new partnerships and celebrate the success of ‘Kavalan’ together!

Slated to be released in December 2010, ‘Kavalan’ is anticipated to be the blockbuster of the year.

KAAVALAN BOX OFFICE REPORTS

Kaavalan Box Office Reports Vijay Kaavalan was released in India with nearly 350 prints on January 15th. Kaavalan has set the Box office collections on fire by collecting nearly 55 lakhs in chennai on opening weekend. Other pongal releases have collected more nearly 60-65 lakhs in chennai. But Kaavalan released only on January 15th has collected 95% of other movies Box office collections in just 2 days and also Kaavalan has been released only in 350 screens whereas other pongal releases have been screened on nearly 600 screens. Recently some theaters in chennai have started to increase
the number of kaavalan shows played. In PVR Chennai on January 15th there was no shows of Kaavalan, then on 16th it was increased to 2 shows and now it is been screened on 10 screens whereas other pongal releases are screened on just 5 screens.

Rules For Using Commas With List

Commas are used when there are 2 or more nouns in a list (example: cats, dogs and mice).
It is common for "and" or "or" to separate the last 2 words in a list.
A comma is optional before the word "and" or "or".
Examples:
Tomorrow is going to be hot, sunny and dry.
I have to buy tomatoes, beans, peppers and a lot of onions.
Do you want to listen to rock music, Jazz or pop music?
